Can anybody tell me where I can purchase the decals that go on the side of .50 cal ammo boxes? I've seen these on some 1/16 models.
Also, does anybody have a method for picking out the very fine letting on 1/16 .50 and .30 cal ammo boxes ...ie a very very small paint roller?? I can barely SEE it let alone "paint" it. My hands just ain't that steady!!

I have only ever seen the ones that come with the Tamiya kits, you can buy these decal sheets seperately but they can be quite exspensive for what they are. Good luck

If you have a steady hand you could try paint the text. Since it's so small you can make irregular lines with some space or some small "letter-dots". Works fine for me when I paint scrolls and other things for my 28mm warhammer miniatures. Looks great with some distance, but if you look real close you can see it's not letters, but when you drive the tank your not up close so I'd say it would work fine
Good luck!

The great thing about dry brushing is it doesn't take a steady hand, or a very keen eye sight. All it takes is a few minutes of practice.

It looks like the Peddinghaus decal sets for the Korea Pershing have the yellow decals for the .50 cal ammo cans... I'm not sure how the Euro translates to US bucks [or Canadian], but Tamiyas decal sets look a lot more expensive.
