Hello Rye.

You could check on ebay. I have picked up accessories from militarymightuk-gb, and manheader. I don't know if they have what you are looking for, but still check them out

Update I just checked manheaders store and I didnt see a 50 cal, but he does have a mg34, I know that doesn't help you but he does have a lot of metal accessories. It's going to be hard to find the original HL ones

here check this out kind of pricey but cool none the less http://cgi.ebay.com/ALL-METAL-1-16-5...QQcmdZViewItem

Here's a place, but not in the US, that sells Tamiya parts. You can buy the .50 cal and the mounts from the Sherman kit... not sure about shipping and what the Euro conversion is these days.

Certainly not as elegant as the European versions, but If you're prepared to settle for plastic 1/18, you can get a .50 cal MG with a Walker Bulldog and a crew figure thrown in all for $22 or so:

That .50 cal Browning at tank-modellbau.de looks to be only the barrel assembly. The rest of the MG in the picture is the receiver of the HL gun. I'm not sure what they're selling, a complete gun or just the barrel as an upgrade.

I would advise buying the .50 M2 sprue from the Tamiya M-26 as the best alternative because the stock HL molding leaves a lot to be desired and requires extensive mods to make it look right.

Try emailing Karen at the AAF Museum.... [email protected] ... and ask her about the Tamiya .50 cal. I believe you need sprues "V" and "W" for the gun, and sprue "A" for the mount. She's a very fast responder when it comes to emails!

Looks like just the V & W sprues... here's a pic from the first link I posted above. Looks like it even comes with an ammo can.
