Default Modified Tiger Antenna

Hi everyone, just thought id show my modified antenna (originally pzrwest's design) i cut some coated wire from an old pc power supply 330mm and wound it round one of the exhaust pipes at the back of the tank.....have a look....gives about 20-15 feet range (about the length of my garden) not much lost really, but gets rid of the rc antenna....

hi pattoncommander....no i just wound it round the exhaust through the hole where the smoker pipe used to be and straight into the wire that comes from the receiver board, the coil round the exhaust pipe is the antenna....it seems to work ok but there is a loss of range.....i find when the tank starts to judder i lift the rc unit about my head and it seems to be enough to turn around and bring the tank back into range.....

Kev
