RE: Can you believe this??????
I thought tankzones prices were a rip off, but these guys are taking the piss!
I've a good mind to set up a ghost ebay account and place crazy bids on both of them.

Nothing new here. There's always a buyer who is willing to spend the money.

Tankers have long memories, at least, this one does. :-)

hmmm. I've heard of people buying stuff from 'pugwash' on this forum before. Bet it sells. THen about a week later the person that bought it will join this forum. So a total of 3 weeks before their first post asking what to do about a broken smoker.

That's true. But it doesn't do any harm to expose the profiteers does it?

LOL buy his entire next shipment with the profits of a single Stug

It's his neck (and money) the price he set it at and I doubt it sells.

£95 isn't too bad for a new tank in the UK.
The price will drop as more become avaliable but there's always someone willing to pay more to have the first ones.
I think the first PZIII's went for that and the Matorro KT's went for over £125.

You have to read on. It comes with 2 crew members and a pet dog. Well now I think it is worth it. So buy it and be the envy of your tank club.[X(]

Got to agree with Wozwasnt.
This is the first one I've seen here in the uk, so if someones desperate for a stug, they're gonna pay it.
Wait a while, I'm sure the prices will come down.
regards
Frank

RE: Can you believe this??????
hi guys..got to admit i'm a little confused by this post...? just followed the link and the listing i saw indicates a NON- standard hl..?? one of the 1st of these models over here (as already pointed out by someone) so bound to be a little more pricey but factor in the metal gear boxes and the INFRARED battle system and i don't think its too bad a deal..? standard all plastic models usually go for around 60quid mark on uk fleabay so if you bought gearboxes and the infrared system seperate it would cost you more i think..? JMHO..
wasn't too excited by the crew and pet dog freebie mind you...!
incidentally, i bought an all metal tiger last year from this seller and although not cheap, it has every possible extra/upgrade done plus it was nicely airbrushed and came with quite a few goodies too..(.although didn't realise it was the same seller when starting this reply..!??)
and no, i didn't get a pet dog with my deal..!!!
P.S. you're not wrong about rip-off britain though...[:@]

Lou has helped me source bit's and bob's a lot over the time and always Put's extra's in the box so in my eye's he's a good un

OK own up. Who's put a bid on it?
Like I said before £95 isn't that expensive for a new tank.
PS. It's only rip off Briton because people are dumb enough to pay the prices.

RE: Can you believe this??????
Guys, hold up a sec.
Any one added up the price of all the metal extras that he's put on that one at £325? Then the cost of paint, and the labor?
" EXTRA STRONG METAL GEARBOXES, METAL TRACKS, METAL SUSPENSION, WORKING METAL TRACK TENSIONERS, METAL ROAD WHEELS WITH GENUINE RUBBER TYRES, METAL DRIVE SPROCKETS, METAL IDLER WHEELS WITH REAL WHEEL BEARINGS, AIR BRUSHED/PAINTED."
Now, how many coughed up similar 'large' prices for tanks done up by Tom Zhang? or for Bulldog's figures? Or even that master of machinery, Daryl Turner (who I'd say are D*MN well worth the prices!)
And remember the genrally 'double-cost' prices for most of the stuff in the UK.
Factor that all in, and then consider it. The one thing I noted was he will NOT ship outside the UK, which shows he knows DAMN well that postage would make the price rediculous.
And that guy even has a 100% rating, even ignoring that its now collated over ~only~ the past 12 months, not ALL his feedback - he's have 100% EITHER way. Interesting to see he has 457 sales-feedback over the past 12 months, but only 341 detailed ratings. Wonder how many didn't leave feedback at all (because they could be retaliated upon?)
As for the Seller Feedback thing...
It needed fixing, but eBay went too far. Us little guys dared not leave negs for the PowerSellers 'cause out neg's were drops in the bucket, and retaliation FB HURT. Now it doesn't, and the PowerSellers that thought they could burn that few percent of us can't anymore. But now eBay left the small sellers hanging... too far one way, lets hope they don't go too far the other way.
Besides... for you Auz sellers... you always have the Marketplace HERE, right? [sm=50_50.gif] [sm=shades_smile.gif] [sm=wink_smile.gif]

I don't think this is a stupid price for a rare, new release with the extras he's including. I wouldn't pay that much though.
