RE: 1/6 Tiger I build
Mark,
What can be said? How does one (even a novelist) find the words to describe what you have done?
Try to describe in words the Mona Lisa, or some other work of art; can't be done to the extent it deserves.
Of course no words I or anyone could offer would effect the pride you must have in your creation.
So Mark thank you for sharing this with us.

Hi. Obviously (and fortunately) there has been a great deal of photos for this build and I'm just wondering if you have them uploaded somewhere that allows us to download them in one go rather than each picture? I love to keep a record of these builds!
Thx, Rich

This is awesome. Great work. I am in to the bigger RC tanks as well and currently building a 1/4 scale King Tiger from scratch. Yours is definitely nicer though and way more detailed. Mine is more or less something big that looks like a king tiger so I can mess around with it and shoot paintballs out of it. Check it out. Oh its made from metal/wood/fiberglass and a lot of patience which I run short on sometimes. Its been a long roads for sure.

Xirus, very impressive, it may not have super fine detail now but this could always be added latter and it would make all the difference, I look forward to seeing more of this build

Rivet, that is some beautiful work....if a tank could ever be associated with a thing of beauty....if not, that thing is a BEAST!!!! You've spared no attention to detail and surely an inspiration to us all! Makes me want to say, "to hell with this months mortgage payment, get a 1/6!" lol

RE: 1/6 Tiger I build
I’ve had these rounds for a while I just haven’t got around to painting and adding the decals, the rounds are from Panzerwerk http://panzerwerk.com/ (they are busy at the moment give it a week or two and the site will be open again, Steve wont continuously take orders when he’s behind this is a good sign) they are the Tiger I 88mm L56 High Explosive and Antitank rounds usually they come in threes one of each and a spent casing I asked for 6 of each rounds and 1 spent casing this is in the gun catch inside the turret, they are made of resin and all came bubble free all I had to do was turn the ends down removing the pour plugs. the decals came from Mike Stannard, I must admit that I did absolutely no research on the rounds I just used Mike Stannard’s reference which will be accurate though there will probably be a few variations depending on factory production and possibly date, the Germans used steel in a vast amount of there casings as brass was in short supply, spent casings where also reused, the HE rounds will be installed inside the Tiger at the side of the driver in the forward ammunition locker I will take more pictures when they are installed.

Just a few pictures of the HE rounds in the forward ammunition locker I have also added a light dusting to the white paint tanks like any other military vehicle would get dirty inside as well as outside.
