I'd like to take the opportunity to announce that we have just become the only Factory Authorized Distributor of Heng Long tanks in the US.

We are very proud Heng Long has shown enough trust in us to make this decision. Our ability to sell their products and also our track record of support were key components in their decision. "What does this mean for me?" you might ask - We will be working closely with Heng Long to bring you exciting new products. We will compile and present customer feedback to HL engineers, whether it be complaints (hopefully not) or suggestions for product improvements. It's only reasonable to assume that all suggestions may not result in changes being made, but with the compilation of the feedback, it will certainly carry more weight and present a much greater chance of the consumer feedback ending with more positive results. In addition, Heng Long will be providing us with many more replacement parts - parts that are typically not available for sale: stock hulls, turrets, barrels, accessories, etc. Over time, we also anticipate better pricing for us, which directly translates to better consumer pricing.

Of course, you may still see HL products being sold by other vendors in the US for a period of time - these retailers will continue purchasing their products from trading companies in China, not direct from Heng Long.

Hobby Havoc Australia was offered this position, but the problem is they say you'll be the only distributor in the country, but will happily continue to supply any and every other retailer out there - at the same wholesale/distributor prices (thus negating any benefit of you being the central supplier)...

Very cool! I look forward to having a local source for tanks and replacement parts. I hope that wacky's prediction doesn't come true this time. [>:] It would be nice to be able to have a US source for replacement hulls, struts, "snap-on" parts, etc when they break off during use or modelling accidents. []

here's one make the wheels direct bolt on so when you upgrade to metal suspension you dont have to cut them to get them apart how many of you have screwed up a wheel that way .

With regards to conversion kits, in a word, yes. I've been actively pursuing sources for many different parts. We have some of the Imperial line-up enroute, which includes the T34/SU85/SU100 conversion kits. I hope many more to come.

so was Creepingdeath offered in 2006 and we respectfully declined as it did negate any benefit or advantage much like wacky had said. at the time hl had a quota that we had to purchase. this included some really lame helicopters and trucks. we said the heck with it and we'll manufacture our own stuff.
