Hi there PantherG ive done it running of heng long board but you will need to fit a resistor in line to slow the servo cant remember the value of the resistor I did it by trial & error till I got it working but if you dont use a resistor the gun barrel will be up and down like a brides nightie.

regards pete

I use a micro servo with the board removed and the lift motor wires wired to the original servo motor with a dropping resiter in the + lead works fine in tight spaces

Hi
If you use a servo then you can add a servo-slow
which slows it down a great deal............
Check on the H.E.A.T. site for more info............

thanks for the link plastic. The servo rate reducer looks like the ticket. all I have at the moment are Futaba S3004's. i may try a smaller servo for this for even more space. But i might try the rate reducer on my 88mm gun project to smooth out the movement of the gun travers. check out the video of the gun at the post 88mmDiarama on this forum.

What i need now is wirring diagrams too get all this stuff back together. I wont be using a smoker but i am going to get a TK-RX 14 board. and some meteal gearboxes from Bill when i get some extra cash. I'm saving for thr HL Jagdpanther at the moment.
