In theory, maybe. If the laser hits the DBU/TBU directly, enough visible light might leak through to skew the gain circuitry in the sensor if it has any sensitivity in that range. And of course, infra-red is on the red end of the spectrum.
But, that said, laser's have a very narrow range of emitted light and it would be focused around the visible wavelength, so it's also quite possible that it would have no effect.

So far during night battles and tests, when i light up a TBU/DBU with a laser(my pershing comes with laser targeting) and fire at it, there seems to be no gain or loss to range of detection. Every shot will hit and the laser does not seem to affect the TBU/DBU in any way. I would like to hear from anyone whom has differing results.
