Default update on vendors

My son wants a Tiger1 for Xmas so I'm looking to order now. Whats the status on Mato these days? Still the main source for HL or has someone else come to the front?

I just might have to fix my Tam Sherman to give him a running target.

I have heard nothing but good about Bill at RC COMMAND. THe fact that there is no across the border shipping involved will probably make it a smooth transaction. I still rate Mato highly, and being that they deal in Canadian Dollars you may find the prices slightly more attractive.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill and his Sidekick... (name escapes me at the moment) BOTH WONDERFUL GENTLEMEN!

THey attended our 2nd ANNUAL EPIC TANK BATTLE WEEKEND IN SEPT! It is great when you get to meet the people behind a company!

Bill is working hard to bring more HL, and similar affordable tanks to the front lines and also bring us a variety of rarely modeled tanks ... I love what they are doing...

IF anyone needs any Tamiya Battle Units, Battery Packs, FM 4 Channel Radios on surface frequency , 2.4Ghz Radios, or Tamiya Kits I have them instock ... I currently have the Tiger1, Panther, and Sherman instock ready to ship!

CHEERS!

I agree completely with the above. He has a very complete inventory, he is extremely helpful via email, shipping is quick and is very knowledgeable about his stock. If you need replacement parts, he's your source. In these days, we need to support quality vendors.

Ditto on Bill @ RCCommand:

Shipped my T34 on only partial payment, and it was here before I managed to get the shipping amount paid. Great guy, and will hopefully deal with him again on parts Mato can't or won't supply. Mebbe with some competition, Mato will listen more to its buyers and not be forever out of its 'free spares'...

Bill: don't forget, I'm still looking for a bare T34 chassis...

Thats the way too go Bill at RCCommand is top notch and is an actuall tanker like the rest of us. not just a sales man. And it's great to have our own supplier in the states finnally. Mato is a good source but customs can be a paine in the rear.

I met Bill and his Sidekick as well at the air show in Monaville, Texas in September and both were great guys. I since bought a Panzer Kampfwagen III super series and a Walker Bulldog Super Series from him. Shipping was fast and the service excellent. I have since asked questions and he has responded within a few hours.

Have only ordered one tank (T-34), but everything was fine and on-time.
