Default German tank question

I'm planning on taking the upper hull components from my HL Panther to finish my Tiger. As the body of my Panther is gravely incorrect, I am seriously thinking of scrapping the top and building from scratch the upper hull for "something else". I'd like to build something sort of like a Stug (no turret, with a big gun or mg array), but am unfamiliar of a model based on the Tiger chassis. Does anyone know of one? Bear in mind that this would be my first foray into scratch fabricating a hull....

So, any of you knowledgable experts have a suggestion? I know I ask a lot....

That looks like a great idea! I could set up to shoot marbles outtta that cannon! Seems to be fairly easy to fab also. Thanks!

The SturmTiger would be reall cool. Dont see very many of them besides. thr projectile froma SturmTiger was a rocket not an artillery shellll. Leaves the door open too alot of possibilities. (TESTORS ) rocket motors HUH HUH what do ya think German Roman candle on tracks FTW.

Both are great ideas. I don't know which I'll go with, but they both would be very cool. Now I won't feel bad about guttingthePanther- it will be reincarnated as something better after I get my Tiger I, Sherman and Panzer IV done. What worries me is that it took me 3 months of unemployment to get my Pershing done....and I'm gainfully employed again. Will I live long enough to finish? [X(]

I have to- I want a HL Sherman to customize when they come out, and I want a new Tamiya kit "just to tick off peskybobcat". Ok, actually I was really impressed with my first gen Sherman and want to see how much they've improved on the newer models.

The only problem for the jagdtiger would be that you have to lengthen the hull, heck that thing is even longer than a King tiger. For an easier mod, i would think a stum tiger will be better

go for it!!
