Wiring Harness Question

Can anyone tell me what the brown wire in the wiring harness is for? I'm trying to install my Creeping Death Tiger turret and their photo is too small to accurately gauge where the wire connects on the board. It appears that the recoil unit positive wire connects at the point the brown wire is connected to, but it would seem to make more sense to connect next to that where the power feeds from the switch. Their instructions do caution that it should not be connected directly to the battery...
Here's their photo. What do you think?

I am confused by the Creeping Death literature as well. They could have simply connected all wires to the colour coded ones running off the 8 pin plug and told us which colour to use. I can never get an email to them as it always gets returned

I am attempting to connect mine to a full Elmod conversion, but I am not having much luck. My turret arrived after a 20 day wait, the airsoft cycles but won't load BB's, the recoil wiring is a complete mystery and I can't get the recoil to work, the laser coax works on the MG but not off the airsoft. The barrel up/down motor sounds like it has stripped all of it's teeth...though I have a feeling that this may be due to the recoil wiring being incorrect and the left joystick vertical down is actually running the recoil, not the barrel up/down. Oh, and the wiring clamp on the airsoft was broken off as there were so many wires jammed under it.
At present I have a whizzy turret that doesn't actually do anything except flash a machine gun LED, and move left and right.
If anyone has connected one of these to an Elmod I would love to hear from you, I can't contact Creeping Death?? I have a spreadsheet that contains full colour coded charts showing where everything has been connected.
Cheers

I just received an answer from CreepingDeath about the wiring. Hope this helps you. I think the photo in their instructions is incorrect.
follow yout tanks red(positive) power lead from the battery to the switch. then from the switch to the circuit board. right where the positive wire connects on the board is where you want to solder your red recoil wire.

I've just about got the Tiger turret wired, and only have the first step to complete. The photo in the diagram is a bit small and hard to see. Is the recoil positive red wire soldered to the board at the same location the small brown wire on the board is going to, or next to that where the main board power feeds from the switch?
Thanks!
Wibbly, instead of trying to email them direct, try the "Contact Us" page on their web site. http://creepingdeathrc.netfirms.com/...bdd99c863be1fc

Thanks Ern, though I did try connecting the CD +/- to the Elmod Board +/- with no effect. I think that there is a conflict somewhere between the CD turret and the Elmod channels/wiring. Unfortunately, the Elmod people don't speak very good English and know nothing about transmitters...
I will try the contact us route at the CD website, thanks for the suggestion.
