Tanks do not have red headlamps. Tanks of the mid 50's into the 70's had auxilliary headlamps for IR that were`dark wine in color but not visible when turned on without the use of an IR scope. WWII German tanks did not have this technology. Headlamps generally are`not used and in a tactical environment, absolutely not.

complete puzzle...looks like someone may have painted them, or maybe replaced the headlamps with Pershing tail lamps???? All but 6 of my 34 tanks and HL, most modified to
realistic appearance, so an off beat color or part is nothing new. Try some paint remover on a small rag....probably will come off.

You have an old non-smoke and sound Tiger. If it has smoke and sound, it was upgraded. If you happen to open it up it might not even have the mounts for the RX-13 board and the reinforcements in the idler wheel area too. If you look back at the old posts on this board from 2004-2006 you'll see plenty of those old tanks. I have a couple of them.

are you referring to the outter half of the idler? if so almost any glue ment for styrene will work. When my outter idler wheel section popped off i just made sure I sanded the mateing surfaces were nice and smooth then used Testors Liquid Cement for styrene, I applied it to both mateing surfaces and pressed them together and let the cement dry for a day them put the track back on.

The original 2 speed tiger (or all HL 1/16 tank) came with the red head lamps. It is only when HL came out with the quasi proportional speed (smoke and sound) tanks did they have the white LED lights
