Default FOV Bradley For my 3 1/2 year old

All,

I bought a FOV 1/16th scale Bradley Fighting Vehicle for my 3 1/2 year old son for Christmas. Its all plastic and I purchased it for about $20 at Target. My son Michael has had his eye on my HL Pzkw III and he really wanted a tank. I figured for $20 I couldn't go to wrong, even if he destroyed it in a month or so. The only unexpected issue with it is that the one-piece rubber/plastic track is stretched too tight over the sprocket and wheels to the extent that Michael really can't push it or have fun because of the resistance. Anyone have any good ideas, keeping in mind its for a 3 1/2 year old? Is there a way to safely stretch the tracks to make it roll better? Thanks for any advice.

It should be 1/18 scale I think.
The rubber tracks do stretch naturally along time, I think that trying to stretch them by hand is hazardous for their integrity. I would not recommend it.

Get him one of those old GI Joe motorized tanks we had as kids. You moved the cupola to start and stop it or just push it along.
