Hi fellow tankers...
I have bought a half built Sherman T 34 Calliope fom a guy in Germany, he have made alot of scartch building on it and with my eyes it look great, but i need the hatches for the driver and the radio-oprator, i have tried to make them from scratch, but it dosnt look right, is their anybody that know somebody that makes thoes hatches, i have seached on the net but haven't got any luck, the only place i have seen them is on a Sherman metal model from forces of vallor...but i think its a bit pricey to bye such a tank just to get the hatches....
Thanks...

Hi JB_DK, that's a fine looking project you've got there. With some good detail provided by the previous owner.
As far as I know the hatches are the same as Firefly hatches. I'm sure you could make these out of Plasticard for the hatch assembly and paper clips for the handles.
I found a couple of links that show a bit of the hatch detail.
I hope these help a bit.

Just found this hatch pic in "Walk Around M4 Sherman". It's a great book for detail pic's of various Sherman types.

My pleasure Jens,
Here's a pic of the front cover to help you find the book.
p.s. your written English is a lot better than a lot English people that I know.
Post lot's of pic's of your progress at every stage. I for one would be very interested in seeing it's build.
All the best,
Gigantohawk.
