I can't remember where I was posting when I promised to post a copy of a letter I'd received some 21 years ago from Imai when I inquired after their plans for the Elefant. The question I asked that I was really, really strining at the chain to know was about how many they had produced which he never told me. Imai the company is gone now so I doubt I'll ever know...

Notice if you will Mr. Imai mentions that they stopped production 15 years before this letter which would have put it at 1973!
