Does anyone know where I can get sprocket wheels for a Tamiya Sherman that will fit a Sherman shaft but also will work with HL Pershing tracks? I tried the HL metal tracks on stock Sherman sprockets but every full cycle the track links become unseated in the sprocket. Comparing the HL and Tamiya sprockets, the Tam sprocket "tips" extend further out by about 2mm, making the Tam sprocket larger in diameter than HL. I thought of grinding down the tips but don't want to risk ruining the sprocket.
Any info or suggestions would be of great help. Thanks

ETO has Sprocket/track sets for the Sherman and KK has sprockets and tracks too. Mato has got HL pershing sprockets and for the most part i've been able to fit HL sprockets to Tamiya shafts, in most cases. have not done the HL-TAM pershing/sherman mix yet though. As for how the Tam sprockets work with HL pershing track, i don't think it will work for the samhe same reason you've already discovered, the pitch of the HL and Tamiya sprocket and track systems are diferent. Try looking at KK Separates...i don't think the IMPACT Tamiya sprockets come separate of the track...ask Bob Hearne at ETO though, he will know best.
