Cut the battery box. Almost all the better grade Packs are larger than the junk that comes with the HL tanks. you may as well just do it and get it over with. I've done it to all my tanks, No big deal then you can run any 6 cell 7.2 volt pack you like. And just because this pack has a nice price and good size does'nt mean its any good. I've been down this road. you are better off spending a few dollars more for a KNOWN battery manufacturer than to take a chance on burnning one up.
