cool story, i remember reading about the pershing taking out a KT years ago in one of my books.. There's so many stories or legends that who knows what actually happened.. I don't doubt that alot of the stories were exaggerated for the sake of story telling but regardless it makes for some interesting reading. I don't doubt the firepower of the pershing, they're lucky the KT gunner missed on that first shot. It is weird that at a close range like they were it missed.. The tankers that were in command of King Tigers were usually veteran SS tank crews, hard to believe they missed a gimme shot of a stationary target lol.. Must have had a bad day..

I heard of this story years ago and it notes that the round had hit under the King Tiger's belly which makes you wonder what in the heck was the driver running over when that hit came? Could the Super Pershing 90mm penetrate the front plate of the KT?

Guess we shall never know the truth of these stories will we?

Im going to have to add extra armor to the under belly of my KT .
