My new Vs KV-2 tank
well my wife bought me the Vs KV-2 tank for well i dont really know why but she did .anyway my first impressions of the tank are that it is nicely detailed it also has the volume control which i think is a nice feature all it needs is some mucking up in the right places and from a visual stand point it will be perfect as for its running and IR functions ill give a more detailed review after i run it for a little bit.As it stands now its a nice looking addition to the Vs line.Ill also take some pictures and maybe some video .

Is your VS tank, a 2009 version? Does it have two speed reverses? VS has a 1/24 Leo 2A6 with the long barrel i wanted. It looks like a 1/16 Tamiya Leo 2A6.

yes its the 2009 version and it has 3 foward and 2 reverse i also have the leopard 2 a6 modified with HL electronics nice tank 2 tigers,2to t-72 as well as the abrams. One of the tigers as well as the abrams are whats called the sparkling series which just means that instead of airsoft pellets or IR beam the main gun flashes. All the tanks (except the leo ) sound the same even the abrams sounds like the t-72 ,tigers and KV-2.

Toyeast, and frequently Tower Hobby, carry both.
KVs are all 2009...they're new!
AND...the Sparkling series is gone! Airsoft, IR and collectors tanks are it for now.

I wish I knew when the new controllers and upgrade kits were going to be released. I'm holding off until then. Every time i get my Vs tanks out for a drive, I end up going back for my HL Bulldog. The sticks are just unbeatable.

Toyeast has some on ebay for $109 plus $44 for shipping... I wanted a Leo 2A6 in Nato color scheme, but they only have Leo 2A5 with a shorter gun barrel. The 2A6 they do have is in winter color.
