I have to admit that I got turned of to 21st Century toys when I purchased their hummer. It didn't work from the git go. I called customer support and they sent me the wrong part. I lost 75 bucks[:@], now it sits waiting to rebuilt. I just cant afford what I need to work with the 12 volt battery. I will never buy a product from them. Its a shame cuz I like the Sherman. Oh well, such is life !

I read that the new RX 18 boad can take 8 or so amps. That's alot more than the RX13 which I read was limited to 3-4 amps. I'm not an expert on electronics but would this mean that there is a possiblity that the RX18 board could be used in the 1/6th Stuart or 1/9 Abrams. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Nice photos Pzwest. Great diorama, albeit a bit too clean. These Stuarts look sooo much better with proper tracks instead of the Mickey Mouse tracks that come on them. .

Jack [email protected] He's with m5stuartrctankbatallion. His tracks are all hand made, molded and finished at his home. It's a little waiting time but worth the wait. You can get them fully asembled, or pieces that you can clean up and assembe yourself. They come with several spares that you can mount on the tank as I have,on ther turret and front.

Got to say you have my curiosity aroused now.Did you buy it new from a store for $75.00 dollars.??? If you did you must have had it for a while as I don't think they have been sold in any store now for quit a while.Do you by chance know why it don't work, and also wonder why you did not return it to where you bought it if it did not work from the start.Must be more to this story.I have two of the hummer's,one still new in the box and one that I have run outside on the road a lot.Steering is good and they move along pretty fast for being so big. (be nice if they had brakes ) they have lots of power. If you got that one working right you may have a whole different opinion as to how good they realy are.

Got the tank last week and I'm very pleased, picked it up on Ebay for 142.50. Not bad for being so big. Everything works great don't really want to change anything yet. It could stand to run a little faster but I'll worry about that later. Thanks for the input guys

Just for general info- There is still parts avaible for the 1/6 stuart and the 1/9 abrams. ( unless things have changed in the last 4 or 5 months ) You can still get Tracks, sprockets, transmitters, original battery chargers, batterys, and a couple other small parts from
21 sT. Century on line storeThe last time I looked they had raised the prices about $5.00 dollars more for each item, but still very good prices on them. It's a good source to find tracks and sprockets for a scratch built tank in those scales.

There are a lot of these still showing up all the time on ebay-It is interesting to see the variation in prices these get sold for.Allthough I'm not curently looking to buy any more I still watch the sales of them on ebay. The other day there was one that sold for over $400.00 dollars plus shipping,a stock stuart-??? If you are looking to buy one and are a member of ebayyou can go into the closed auctions area for the 1/6 stuarts and use that as a guide as to what you may expect to pay for one. They sell for $70.00 dollars and upBut be ''carefull'' what you bid on as there are a lot of '' NON-RC-MODELS '' being sold and some of the sellers are not pointing this out in their auctions.Parts are still avaible for these from 21 sT.century online sales so if you want parts check them out-I see some of the darts on there now with a price of $25.00 dollars for something you can still buy new for $5.00 dollars-The old saying ''buyer beware '' should be well heeded when buying there. For what ever this is worth.
how do you go to that closed auction area in ebay..

Well sadly to say I no longer have my rc stuart tank[] On June 13th I went to the Toronto Modelers Society's show with my club. We set up a 1/6th dio that measured 16'x5'x5' and had 138 figures plus vehicles on it. But while waiting for the rest of the club guys to show up some people were admireing My friend Jack and my Stuarts. So I got mine out of the van and proceeded to run it around in the parking lot. This one older chap asked how powerfull was it so I backed it into his leg and he was very impressed and said" How Much Would You Want for the tank?" and jokeingly I said $500.00 bucks and dam if he didn't buy it. I had a feeling that even if I had said 600 or even 700 he would have bought it he wanted it that bad

I have a Stuart with chopped side skirts, but the battery charger doesn't work anymore... and I only got to drive it outside once (that was maybe 3-4 years ago). It's just taking up space if anyone local (So-Cal) is interested.. *hint, hint*

I have my first Stuart, I got it earlier this summer, love it....though I already see that I want improve it. I really wish that Heng Long would do some 1/6 scales.....like the Tiger.....but i'm just wishing I think.

I wonder if they read this forum? How many would buy? Obviously price is a major issue.
