Default RE: mato tiger

Hi Daryl,

Yes but mostly NO! (I assume you mean the Matorro Tiger and not the WSN/Torro Tiger?)
The gun barrel is about the correct length, the pistol port on the turret side is correct orientated and the mantlet is the right way up.
Other than that it has all the same flaws (ie 90% common chassis parts) as an early HL Tiger - no metal support bars for the suspension arms and pressed-in road wheel axles (leading to cracked suspension arms) plus an inferior gearbox and electronics.

I bought mine because it was on offer and worked out at only something like $40 after you took away the retail price of the metal track set it came with, if it wasn't for that I would not have touched it with a 50ft pole in the first place...
And now that I know what I know now, I cannot recommend it over the HL!

I kept the upper half, the road wheels and axles, and the metal trackset (and married them to an Asistam chassis) plus I saved a couple of the un-broken suspension arms as spares for my Sturmtiger, and the speaker (to use elsewhere) . The rest I ended up giving away...

IMHO you are better off going to somebody reputable like RC Command and buying a later version HL Tiger. Mato sell the Matorro gun barrel and mantlet seperately for $16, once you have that peice there really is no further reason to by the entire Matorro Tiger...

hope this helps,
Mart
