Simple Tiger Recoil Fix
Tiger 1334 is almost done. I installed the recoil unit, ad went to test it out. Nothing. So I checked my wiring and just to be on the safe side I re-soldered all my connections. Nothing again. So I changed the tank's battery, and again......Nothing.
Now I'm getting upset. So I take the whole thing apart, down to nuts and bolts. I checkthe motors the wiring, everything. I button it back up, fire up the engine and guess what? Nothing.
So now I see red, and decide to take a break. My youngest son comes up before i can get out ofthe chair and asks how its going.
I explain about my recoil problem. Now the child has little or nothing to do with my tanks, however he was looking at it and asked if the little door on the top of the "gun thingy" opens.
"Why yes," I answer. It then occured to me that under the little door on the "gun thingy," is a small switch.
Yep you guessed it.
Thank God for kids but I'm going to bed, and roll in my shame.
