TIGER 1334 Complete
Completed....well almost (still a few touch ups to make) TIGER 1334
I made S-Mines from scratch. I also dolled up the tool box with some clamps. It looked pretty good so I put a clamp on the jack block up front. My home made fiber optic bow MG works great! I mounted a metal jack also, along with a fire extinguisher.
To add some detail I made the clamps from the ABNER PE set. I then slices the bottoms away so they would fit over the molded tools. I also added clamps to the rear storage box.
Small guage chain was used on the air cleaners. On the turret I made the hatch stop from a small bit of styrene. Decals are from BackYard Armor.
The scheme I got from Wacky's and depicts a Tiger at the time of KURSK from the 13th Coy of the 1st SS Panzer.
As for electronics. I installed a fan cooled RX-18, and Asiatam Recoil. I also added a switch to enable the lights to be turned on and off. That driver ad radio operator hatches hide the switches and volume control.
The only problem is the recoil. The entire tank jumps off the ground when I activate it.

Thanks Ern,
Hey what color do you think the stripes are? The camera has done something strange. Those are Panzer Grey, but they look green!

That is strange... great detailing work bythe way. The S Mine launchers look great, and I love the chains and clasps on the toolbox too. I just ordered some late Tiger conversion parts and should have an airbrush soon [auction ends tomorrow] so I'll be getting rid of the panzer gray soon. If it comes out half as good as your work I will be thrilled.
