Default Tamiya Leo A6 Loader's hatch problem

Hi Guys,

Step 70 on the Tamiya Leo A6 manual. You have loader's hatch and two parts: K3 and K31. The hatch and K31 fit well, but if I try to add K3 it does not work at all.
Has anyone encountered such problem? My brain is going to blow up!

Best regards,
Eugene

The loader's hatch has to be permanently closed or opened before K3 can be attached/fixed- hatch does not swing open/close.

I understand.
If closed the parts do not fit!
If opened like on tiger I it looks possible. If opened with the hatch liying on the turret, it also looks possible, but what is the coorect way for the hatch opened?

On Leopards, the loader's hatch should lay flat on the turret roof when in the opened position. I can't remember, but I don't think you should use the K3 part when you want to close the loader's hatch.

I prefer keeping the hatch closed so all the multi-colored wires inside are not visible. You are right, in this manner K3 does not seem to fit . I never bothered attaching K3 on my 2 Leopards.

Yeah I basically just figured it out when the manual said, "choose either". The K3 part is only a detail part that's only visible when the hatch is open. But I wanted to model mine in the closed position, so I opted not to use it. I just looked at Step 71 to see what the hatch should look like when it's closed.

Thank you for the replies!

What do I do now? Leave it opened or close it?
