RE: What's the verdict on the KV-1
They were just shipped out yesterday so I won't have mine until Friday.
If I'm home that day I'll snap a few shots of it.

Nice pictures, but the one thing that will have to change is that those are not rubber rimmed road wheels.
I'll have to double check on the return wheels and the exhaust fumes came out on top of the back deck through those two exhaust pipes.

HL have improved SOOOO much. It's amazing to see, especially when you consider that they would still be printing money even if the quality was poor (hasn't stopped many other products from China!).
This thing looks huge - what's the size comparison with the Tiger and are the dimensions accurate?
Also is that an airsoft gun or have they abandoned airsoft for IR now?

RE: What's the verdict on the KV-1
Hi Gorehound
These motors are faster than the white-capped Suntechs, no load rpm is 18,000 against around 8,000 for the Suntechs
http://www.mabuchi-motor.co.jp/cgi-b...AT_ID=rs_380sh
but they run smooth, and with the new RX-18/14s the feeling is that you have more control than with the older RX-13s.
Regards
Jose

RE: What's the verdict on the KV-1
Thank Uhu
MY Jagdpanther was always too fast for my liking and I have a couple of spare white cap motors so may just swap them over to cut the speed down a bit.
cheers

No work today [] so as soon as mine gets dropped off into my grubby little hands I'll snap a few pictures, and then some. Should be in about 7 hours!!
I'd like to hook-up the real exhaust tips on the back deck to the smoker. I wonder if it can still work after I gut the HL electronics?
