I'm sure  that it's just a particularly good photograph of an unsubstantiated  rumor.

It is for real and hopefully soon to be in the USA.

The photo above was taken at the recent Tamiya Exhibit at the 2009 Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan.

In the photo below, to the top right you can see the KV-2 model just peeking into the image and this image is posted at the Tamiya USA site.

So, what are the chances for a Hen Long KV-2?

How about a Tamiya KV-2A and a KV2-B as well?

KV-2's are so ugly they have a beauty to them.

But durnit.. I want a 1/16th JS-2.... then a conversion kit to make a ISU-152....

Very nice!  I know it won't happen but wouldn't it be nice to have a turret kit to allow one to interchange between the two?

JS2 conversion kits will undoubtedly follow.

I figured this was logically going to follow the KV-1, as it really just requires a turret swap.  I was thinking of a KV-2 turret kit, but it looks like Tamiya beat me to it.  This will be the KV for me! [8D]

Pretty cool. Well that's it, all new projects are either cancelled or on hold. No new parts, kits or tools for me in the near future. The KV-2 is mine.

First a Tamiya KV-1, then a KV-2. And next in all probabilityan SU-152 (an 152 L/32 howitzer on a KV-1 chassis), following the lead of VsTank????? [NOTE:Last sentence intended as a question as the "????" should indicate]
Thanks,Oli
