RE: Tamiya Tank Dealers
I would recommend visiting here and email for prices and terms: http://www.aaftankmuseum.com/RC%20Tank%20Kits.htm
or check here and email first for any deals:
http://stores.shop.ebay.com/HobbySum...&_fcid=1&gbr=1
or email here to check prices: http://www.vqwarbirds.com/rctank.html
My 2 cents worth of build opinions based upon experiences:
And I would consider your build preference based upon what you like best amongst the WWII Tamiya tanks including the new Tamiya KV-1 and KV-2 to release sometime during the summer or at least by years end.
I have built the King Tiger, a favorite tank, but would Not recommend it as a first build. The Tamiya kit requires a spring loaded idler upgrade, metal tracks and other performance enhancing aftermarket parts to tweak it to run RC well, and well, that cost and assembly frustration isn't worth it for a first time build. Get hooked on the hobby, then build a KT. True the Panther and Jagdpanther may require aftermarket parts to setup well, but the assembly and tweaking time is simple compared to a KT.
Below is a photo review order of some of my Tamiya builds and that order reflects a common sense approach based on my experiences. Build experience says start with the Sherman and save the Pershing and King Tiger for last.
All the Tamiya kits are fun and a good build challange, so do what you like best, I started with the King Tigers by the way.
Best of luck.

Does anyone here know any Tamiya tank dealers that i can purchase from besides the Tamiya website itself. Also, this will be my 1st tamiya tank build and what tank should i start out with?

All valid questions depending on how far you want to go and spend. The M4 Sherman and Tiger I are easy builds to startoutwith minimum aftermarket needs. Every kit has a list of recommended parts they each might or will need so it would be easier to tell us what looks the most appealing to be your first kitand we can go from there!

Your welcome and that motorpool is always changing, always for sell and or lend lease!
The build is the fun part, the collecting is not a priority, u know, earthquake, wild fire and mud slide country.

PanzerAce,,, You may go with a simple 4 channel AM or FM radio on surface frequency (I recommend an FM UNIT)
or for about the same price range go with a 2.4Ghz Spektrum radio for $100
We can chat more about this...
I will email you my phone #...
