Hi all,
I would like to know if any body has tryed using the Tam recoil on a rx18 board? Have tested it on an rx14 board re Bubbs set up but when fired i had to hold the left stick in position for one second to get one complete recoil but then i get two cannon shots, so before i fry another board and micro switch your help would be much appreciated.

i have done the tamiya recoil on the rx18 and it works flawlessly and rccommand turrets can also be had with tamiya recoils

yellow wire on 8pin connecter goes to white wire on recoil make sure to install diode to prevent double recoil green wire goes to brown wire on 8 pin connecter and blue wire goes to ground if you dont put in the diode the recoil will multi fire

I set it up that way but there was not enough voltage, the unit wouldnt do a complete cycle so I connected the green & blue to the smoker plug (green to red + & blue to black - now it works like a charm.

Where does the diode go? Inline with the white and yellow wires? Just wanted to know if it is necessary for RX14 board as well. I cycle the recoil through and it continues past the microswitch. Is this just a microswitchout of adjustmentor will the diode take care of the the continuous motion?
