I'm in the process of converting a Panzer III into a bergepanzer III which obviously is not too disimilar and its been a hoot. The only real problem I'm finding are things like joints and pullies for the crane to work etc. however I did find some stuff at (of all places) www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk which should sufice till I can work out something better. If I can pluck up the courage I will post some photo's once its completed.

Gunnar,

Thanks for that, some good little ideas although I'm at the bodywork completed stage on my version but I did my woodem cab in a similar way.

There doesn't seem to be many real pictures of the bergepanzer III, there are only about four that do the rounds on various sites, there are quite a few if the IV though, should have chosen that perhaps, I just liked the idea of building the wooden workshop on the III.
