Thanks for the post on this. I too would like a half track with trailers etc. that I could afford. Seems like it woudl be a good market for this. I have looked in toy stores etc. for things I can mabe convert or alter for this. Let's hope it happens.

Hey Blitz, it looks like El-Mod has done it again. The only unfortunate thing is I just can't afford this stuff. I have wanted to put a total El-mod system in my LEO 2A5 but with some other projects in the works there just aint enough money to go around. They have everything a guy could want in their systems but man, why can't they help us budget guys out a little. I know there is alot that goes into this stuff, but by the time you get done you Can afford a Tamiya tank. Now I dont want to be gettin all the haters rilled up or anyones panties in a bunch but man I'm looking at almost a years budget for one complete el-mod system. Would it be possible to make a slightly scaled down version with maybe not quite as many functions? Or be able to use atleast some parts of the original HL parts. Wishful thinking I know but I'm sure there are alot of other guys that would love to go El-Mod but just don't have the cash. I just got a 21st. Century halftrack and want to RC it and this looks like the ticket. But Realisticly I know i'll just have to go with a plane jane HL setup. Besides, they have somany different components i get confused as far as what goes with what and what i would actually need. LOL. Nobdy ever said I was the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I hear Panther G, times are tough all over, and EL MOD is definately a luxiary item when it comes to tanking! Heck I sell the modules and I only have one tank with EL MOD in it! I got plans to do an allied tank, but I might just sell that system I got set aside before I get to install it! This is how I look at it, if you want that one tank to be your Rolls Royce, then it is definatey the way to go!
As far as hook up, it is much easier now not so many modules and they have definately simplified it! And if you want to do the Half track, the X22 board is about as simple as you can get! You would just need a hobby radio and receiver, but it works like a charm! I am in the process of using it in my Century 21 M3 conversion, to a M3A3 75 mm, and the electronics are the easy part, the X 22 board is nice and small! Mounting the drive wheels to a drive line and getting gearing right is where I got stuck!
Donskie not sure when but I believe it is WSN who it making it and they have advertising videos of it out already!!
