Default Moving machine gun...

I take it the moving machine gun is not part of the stock kit?

If not, what is need to achieve the effect in the video? Can you actually control the direction of the machine gun barrel from the transmitter?

Just connect it to a servo and knob or lever to move it. Takes a channel on the radio.

Keep in mind this is a Tamiya M26, not an HL. You cant use servo's on the HL electronics.

If you were crafty you could do something like this with a henglong. You could wire up a small motor with a gearbox and an eccentric, triggered by the same power source as the machine gun led. Then when you fired the machine gun it would pan back and forth.

Cool. Anyone ever think of running a second radio control unit to add more channels to their Henglong?

This picture is a little tough to read, but the guy automated the King Tiger drivers hatch AND had the driver poke his head out!
