Great work Bubbajoe! My concern is if the spring has enough tension to support the tank. Looking forward to your video after re-assembly.

I like the way the assemblies come apart. Not glued, allowing the modeler to try something like this. A bit of a compromise, on the protoype, but the end result functions good.
So thanks. That shows one way to do it.
I can't wait unti mine shows up.. Should be tomorrow.

yes but the plastic is light and flexable so trying to do it to scale was out of the question
if it was metal it would be no problem to make it work like the original

Brilliant, less than 48hrs you have disassembled the Sherman, corrected several inaccurate components, reassembled the corrected components and made video's,posted pictures and shared for anyone who wishes to make these corrections. And for all your skill, selfless post, sharing you received the thanks of a few,the scorn of the jealous, and the envy of the less skilled, and the thanks of a greatful few who are better modelers by your example, one class act sir. I am glad you got over your inital disappointment, and got proactively involved in making it right. This tank looks a lot better now then it did a few days ago.

Bubbajoe, that is nice fast work. Glad to see you've decided to make the best of it.
W.r.t. to my DBCs, I admit that all I know is that I sent them to you, and then shortly thereafter Bill released his "rip-off" version, which you then provided support for via this forum. If you truly had nothing to do with it, then my apologies.
