Sorry $ 159 shipped. Of course there is customer service to factor in, and that is where guys like Phil excel. It is not always the price that matter. If you need help look to the smaller distrubutors to fill that need. For a big distrubuter I don't think it gets any better then Mato, but you are not going to find the personal helpful service you get from Phil. Personally I can't speak for RCcommand because I have never used them, but there are certainly some RCcommand fans on the forum.

I think with Mato you have to add$12 for the emitter that I believe RCcommand includes those for free. At least he did at one time. Maybe Mato will have free shipping again for us. May be time to give Phil some of my money. We'll see what his prices are. Hobby has gotten better with all the new releases. I remember when they came so few and far between that we would pay top dollar and tripple shipping to get them as quick as possible. Now I can sit back and pick and choose for a bit.

Perry, your right. I almost forgot that my KV-1 came without the IR receiver. So in the end maybe a few dollars difference "apples and apples" between RCCommand and Mato

All things said it really boils down to who you prefer to do buisness with. Large well known distributors can give some good deals, sometimes. Smaller dealers tend to have a loyal following and the loyalty is usually repaid with good service.. I think it all equals out in the end.
