Default Smallest Servo?

Oh wise ones,

I have one of the old type HENG LONG Tiger Commanders (you guys know how I like playing with those). I have him all hollowed out, armatures, springs, 6mm bbs for ball joints, shafts, gears all installed. Now his head turns and as it goes to the left, the left arm rasies to look as a map. As the head moves to the right it raises the arm with binoculars. Now to get the whole thing to work I need a very small servo. We are talking small so it can fit in the Tiger turret.

Any suggestions?

Don

When it all done and working and there is any interest I will do a how to. Not as hard as I thought.

Well I for one would be interested in a how-to. In the meantime I will do some research to see if I can find a suitable size servo.

I would like to know too, also you can bend it into anyshape, apply current and bam-o back to straight or they have the opposite ones too, there is a bunch of different ones, current = straight, current = bent

2.5g Blue Arrow servo:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=3714

1.5g Spektrum servo:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=10416

1g muscle wire servo:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=6405

Also available from other retailers, I just knew Hobbyking had them all.

There's also a 1.5g Falcon servo, but it's quite expensive. And a 0.8g falcon servo coming out.
