The test example we played with at DAK seemed to chew through the 2000 Mah battery in a few minutes. Maybe a better battery, 3300-4000 and a real charger would help.

You might have a transmitter to receiver signal problem. Check the antenna.

We experienced a similar situation with one of ours and mentioned it in the Review post for the Mato Sherman.

If it's cutting out, like you're losing the signal you have poor solder connections in the radio on the antenna and or right stick. Open the radio and resolder all connections, including the yellow wire to the antenna and try again. Worked for us.

My sherman has the same issues with ALL OF THE SOLDER JOINTS. IF I even touch a wire anywhere the solder joint fails, so a total rework is in order.

I must have the Sherman that was built on a Wednesday. I have had no issues so far save for a loose crystal inside the tank. Seems the Mato Tanks have the same kind of issues out of the box like the Henglongs. No problem though you will have your Sherman working and you won't regret buying it.
