Default New guy in Texas getting into tanks

I've been reading through these forums for a few days now. I've been a member on this site for a long time but really haven't been active for a long time (kids, work, work, kids, work). I decided to come back to RC and become a tanker this time. I'm former Army so I've been around a few in my day and I've always been intrigued by the RC tanks.

Anyway, thanks for all of the useful info on here. I've already contacted Phil at RCTankWars about my two tanks I plan to buy. I'm looking at the HL Tiger I and Panzer III all with the metal upgrades and S&S with the airsoft. I figure that I'll do a little modding and give one of them to my brother-in-law for Christmas.

Take care,

Tim

Hey Tim,

Retired 19K020 here. Brother if you are giving away a modded tank for Xmas I have two things to say.

1. You gonna have to hurry.
2. Can I be your Brother in Law also.

Welcome to the forum. These folks on here are all top shelf. True experts and very inventive. If they don't know the answer they know where to get it.

Phil and all the vendors you see on here are great people who also love RC tanks.

Hoooha!

Lol, yeah, I'm running short on time aren't I! Ah, what the heck, I can always use another brother-in-law. Oh, I need to redo my roof next weekend. Are you available?

Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to doing much more reading in the coming weeks.
