Baron, Chinito is right, they are just a neat little gadget to compliment my growing collection of German armor. It's a Tamiya kit that used to sell for about $75, but getting one under $200 now that they have been discontinued is about impossible. There's one guy on eBay that has has one listed on eBay for $700 [yeah, right]. The electronics aren't the best, and from what I've heard and seen there is only one speed for them - but it's just cool!

Icecreamslick is/was a member of this forum... I love his video. He actually sold his Kubelwagen this year and I got beat on that auction too. One of these days...

Ern,
I have a 1/16 Kubelwagen and your right they are all or nothing on speed and steering they a tad awkward to drive so I gutted my own and fitted new electrics now it’s filly proportional much better to drive I also have a 1/16 Schwimmwagen which is in the middle of a conversion though it has been on hold for a few months while I concentrate on my 1/6 Tiger, I also have a 1/6 RC Kubel built and a 1/6 Scwimmwagen waiting for conversion

Hey Rivet... What kind of electronics did you put in there? Self made or drop in from another vehicle?

Hi guys

Is this the one you guys are talking about? The price is 799 Dkk (Danish crowns), about 160 $ - Without shipment.
If you really want one, you could contact him ( [email protected] - he is a very nice guy).

That is the one Meller... shipping would probably be a bit high. I will keep it in mind though ~ Thank you!

I have all 3 of the static models. The R/C version never appealed to me since I'm into tanks.
