Default When to paint?

When should you paint a Tamiya tank? before or after it is built? I am planning on having someone else paint it so I was wondering what stage in the build it needs to get painted.

I read that gluing painted parts can be a pain and that it needs to be removed before gluing.

I'm not sure what the Tamiya manual recommends as I haven't even opened the box yet.

Any thoughts?</p>

Default RE: When to paint?

AFTER major parts have been glued/assembled. Basically it can be painted after the build or in sub-assemblies depending on what type of paint tools are being used.
