Default Gearbox Differences??

I recently got an HL KV-1 with the Asiatam hull. The stock sprockets require a long axle box, but the Asiatam sprockets require a short axle. I swapped axles on the standard metal boxes and it worked perfectly, but I want some steel 3:1 boxes. I put my Panzer III box in and see that the bolt pattern matches and axle sticks out the correct amount, but I am not sure the differences since one is a puller and one is a pusher. Are the motors wired differently between the boxes? Since the PIII boxes will be sitting in there backwards, will this make them sync up with the transmitter controls?

You'll have to reverse the wiring. Same thing we had to do with swapping TK-RX13 boards between Tigers and Pershings in the days before connectors.
