Here, it's a balmy -3C, with a gentle zephyr of a breeze, roughly 25 knots, blasting up yer kilts. It's 19:20, and snow is forcast. Good evening to work on the JT. By the way, it started.

We had 50 to 60 mph winds and temps in the minus double digits Monday and Tuesday of last week. It was enough to rip apart our canopy cover to the point it looked like a hurricane went through. Good thing I had cinder blocks tie-strapped at the bottom of the frame.
We did purchase an additional cover at the time we bought this canopy. You don't get much for $300.00 these days and they fall apart easily too.

Well we had some rain. Yes it does rain in Southern California. And now it is a nice 59F and sunny . Highs should hit the lower 60's. Winters here. I guess Canada hasn't heard about GLOBAL WARMING

Always wondered what killed most the palms down Yalta way couple winters ago. They been there for over a hundred years. Now I understand. It was global warming. Then we got the tree ring samples from all over Siberia which don't quite support the learned enviro scientist's findings either. Guess the trees don't know what they're doing.
Anyhow, nice and toasty warm in the digs, so this old guy is working on the JT...still. Proto recoil is going in. Interestingly, as normal, things don't quite line up. Now where's that 5 kilo hammer....

Its been cold here I actually had to wear a sweater the other night. I think it got to mid eightys today. I kind of like the global warming it keeps me toasty in the winter.
