Default Some new pics...and progress

This is where I'm at so far. I am working on the Thunder 1 and now recieved the DBC/DBU from Phil today.I will be starting that tonight and see how it progresses. All in all I am very happy with the upgrades.
I wanted to tell you guys too that Creeping death is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Some of you may have seen my other post about the Thunder 1 and it seems I got a bad board the first time around. This company didn't hesitate to ship out another board and repair parts for the first one as well. If that isn't enough they sent me the prototype speaker box setup they used so I can see how it should be built. These guys are top notch professionals and I would highly recommend them. There is never an issue through email or by phone. They will get back to you and they are willing to go the distance to make you happy.
Creeping death, thank you again for the help and you have a loyal customer!

LOL you mean 3 batteries. And yes it is very heavy. I will post vids as soon as I figure out how to install the DBC/TBU system in this thing and get it back together.

I believe in my heart that the traverse will clear perfectly....I really do...seriously. LOL I hope.... I haven't actually finished organizeing the woring either so that is going to help alot. The 2 9.6 v batteries that are coming are much smaller than these 7.2 andThey should fit in front of the box where the turret is. I had been sure to measure twicce and cut once as they say, so all should be ok. This has been a fun project so far and I really am going to have to weigh this cat when all is complete. It's HEAVY!!Perhaps larger motors will be in order??

Holy crud, and I thought I had trouble with my Pershing's cramped interior.

Looks great though! I bet it sounds great.

I have a thunder1 in a bulldog. it was a pretty good fit. I cut out the half the battery box and made it into a speaker box with an oddball pc speaker. I used 2 small rc 9.6 volt battery packs and squeezed the big old 7.2 off to the side. i epoxied the onboard charge plugs cables to the side of my home made speaker box . this works great, all i have to do is unscrew the battery cover and my charge plugs pop out. this is the wifes tank. she didnt know I put it in I always have to beg her to drive her tank with my cd panzer3 , even though i know she has fun. . now no offense to women out there, but my wife drives her tank like she drives a car. she always pushes full up on the stick before the tanks lights stop flashing. needless to say the bulldog started and the tank moved full throttle forward. the thunder one at full throat. the next instant her controller was airborne and she was in tizzy holding her hands straight up. the controller was history and the only thing we could hear was the idle of her her "new tank". I got a replacement controller form mato, and a good chuckle to boot. the thunder 1 is really neat and I have to agree creepingdeath is a top rate company. I too am excited about the new gun system. I have the cd panzer3 and it still works as great as the day I got it.

Hi you tutrn on the tank and radio then push buttions or sticks to input functions you will see the led lights light up when you put in a input.
after all your setting are inputted you then press the start up key and it should work.
and next time you turn the tank on don't tutch anything wait like 10 seconds and then press start key and it should work.

Yep, went through the motions liek you said...but honestly I don't mind if I do have to set it each time I retart it. It works great and I am very happy.
Blitz, thanks for all the support. You're right there when help is needed.
The Tiger is almost battle ready. Probably by sometime next wek it'll be done...really done. No, I mean finished and ready to go!! But what am I going to work on then?????
