Default HL Tiger 1 Late Problems

Hello All

Steven Here, and I own a 6 months old Tiger 1 Late from Henglong and it is a vet of only 1 battle so far wich was back in November.
Sadly though, i have 3 problems since then and that's why i ask you guys if you could Help me.

The Biggest problem is that the Tiger Wont Drive again. The Engine Start, Barrle can go up and down, but it wont drive?
then there is the BB Light ( its that Version) wich is on with out even if the Gun doesnt fire?

2 problem is that when i was trying to avoid a sherman wich caused me so much problem that an outer road wheel came off!
what glue do you need to put it on again?

3rd, and problably my nail in my eye, is i dont seems to know what track link to tighten' since my tracks are soooo loose you can put a finger between the front sprocket and the first road wheel?

Here a photos of my Babywhen she was in full swing. that dident last long 'cause it is a Tiger after all? they break down all the time......... I could've Cried that day, but my friend gave me a Panther to play with ( it's the bright Yellow one)

Make sure the wires to the motors are connected on the ESC as well as the motors themselves. Unlikely you would lose power connections to both motors at the same time, but something you have to check. The fact that you have turret function, means the receiver is communicating with the ESC. You might need a new RX 14 board. THis can be had for about $25

Any glue for styrene would work or of course CA for the wheel issue.

Sounds like you can remove a link from your tracks, Anyone will do. Remove a couple of pins drop out a track section, and pin the track back together.

Nice bridge and battlefield

HL DOES NOT MAKE a LATE Tiger. This means it was upgraded or converted by someone. Check all your connections including everything in the Transmitter. Make sure all your crystals are seated properly. most importantly do some reasearch on who you intend to purchase from and if the warant anything. just a thought.

It's one of those customised HL Tigers that is highly modified with 3:1 gearbox, reinforced chassis bar, high quality metal tracks....etc. I have one, bought it from Rctank abt one year ago. Mine has problem too - the metal suspension couldn't swing properly, thus jamming and freezing the tracks.

That was my experience with my Tiger. did all the swing arm and backing plate mods and the wheels would just twist out of position. The arm and spring arrangement are just not strong enough for metal wheels and tracks PERIOD. The only way I got this cured was installing the asiatam hull. Unless you want to fabricate an entire tub and custom torsion bar set up.

I bought one from rctank.de too. I guess it's the same version with mine so here is my comment.

1.The BB red light will permanently on if the recoil unit didn't align properly and will cause the tank run incorrectly or don't run. Check your gun barrel position. Try un-plug the wire to upper hull and start the tank. If the tank run then the problem is what I told. I had this problem twice when I shot the gun and battery run out so the gun stuck inside the turret before release out.
2.Don't use glue. The road wheel attached to swing arm by a small grub screw. You may lost the screw already. Carefully check the swing arm.
3.The track is too long. I took out one link from each track. It runs better but still have to take out another one from left side. The spring in my left idler adjuster seem softer.

Hope this help.

I re-painted mine using 1/35 box as reference. She runs great.

ORIGINAL: Panther G

Sorry to Burst your Buble here, Panther. But you're Wrong!

This is a HL Tiger 1 Late MADE By Heng Long. Ihave the Box To Proove it. I Baught it as it is now, STOCK and I havent Changed ANYTHING to it. The Companies Link is Here but it seems that He Doesnt Sell mine any more : http://www.tanktoko-apeldoorn.nl/index.php?cat_id=2

The CamoFlage is indeed great to look at, but from up close you can tell that you can add some more Camo to it.
Original Parts, and not rebuild by anyone. I was Thinking on starting to change it, But I decided on a 1/4 Panther, so this baby need to wait.

Panther G is correct.

Heng Long doesn't make a late tiger, only the Early tiger. What you have is not stock from Heng Long - It is already modified and upgraded by the seller before you purchase it. Just like mine below, only with a different paint scheme:

BTW, when I got my late tiger from Rctank, it also came with the original HL box as well, but the box art shows an early tiger.
