After swearing for over a year that I would never, never, NEVER order from Raidentech I put in an order today. The Bulldog metal tracks just looked to be too good of a deal and my Dad really wanted to get a set. So I bit the bullet and ordered 4 (2 pairs) at $20 a pop. The site says they are in stock (the only ones that are....) but anyone who has dealt with Raidentech will know that don't mean beans.

BIGMIG, out of respect of you and your opinion of Raidentech I have done this order and given Raidentech a second chance. Please sacrifice a chicken to whatever tanker god you have gotten the divine touch from and ask for assistance with my order. And yes, if this order goes without a hitch I will eat my words and stop bashing what you have maintained is a good supplier.

Anyway, everyone please cross your fingers on my behalf.

For what it is worth i have orderd from them a few times and never had a problem.

What can go wrong with a set of metal tracks. Should work out all right for you. $20 a set, is a heck of a deal!!!!!!, Sure those are metal???

It is $20 per track the first time i orderd them i got 1 track i was kinda pissed but read the fine print still not a bad deal.

Well I can't guarentee anything other than they seem to have the best prices I have found,and was or still do offer free shipping.
If I read their add right when you order tracks they are not sold as a set,but individual tracks at $20.00 dollars per track for the metal ones.So a set of metal tracks is $40.00 dollars which is still the best price I have yet to see.Hope everything goes well for you on your order,I have allways had good luck with them.

Yes when i orderd 1 track it was my fault for not paying attension and they do have the best prices i have found.

My problem with Raidentech has been in being charged for something that they didn't have, not being told and refusing to refund when I asked for my money back when they could not even tell me when they would have it back in stock. If they actually have the tracks in stock as their site says they do, then I should be happy. And I did notice that it is $20 per track and ordered 4 tracks- two for my Dad's Bulldog and two for mine.

I did try the free shipping code, but it only works for the US....or at least does not work for Canada shipments. If this works out, I'll be ordering more tracks, and can have them shipped to a US address for me to pick up from with the free shipping code. But I don't go south during the winter- I tend to hibernate! ;o)

Yup that free shipping only applys to the U.S. orders.I didn't notice you was in Canada.

That's all right. I appreciate you mentioning it. If it wasn't winter, I'd use it and drive to my dropoff in the US. But the shipping was less than the gas in the car...in summer, I'd go by bike. The shipping was relatively reasonable too- $24 for two sets of two tracks, or four tracks. I just wish that these companies would be willing to offset their international shipping with their cost of local free shipping- it would probably cut the shipping in half. Still, at least they didn't gouge... you should see what some people off eBay charge for diecast cars to ship up north....

Well, this is NOT looking so good.... I emailed Raidentech on availability of the Bulldog metal tracks.

I got blown off with a "when your order is shipped you will get email confirmation" reply. Since that is NOT what I asked, and I had asked on current availability of the tracks I am not feeling too confident on a positive outcome. I replied saying pretty much the same thing, stating that I am not asking of the status of my order but asking whether there is stock. Maybe this time I will get someone who actually reads....

Just to clarify- I am not expecting next day shipping right after Christmas. That would be foolish. But I wanted to know if they had the tracks still in stock- I am NOT willing to tie up $100 with Raidentech while they get in stock- last item I waited to see in stock took over 4 months! And since they had charged my credit card right away, which means that if I had not cancelled the order I would have potentially paid three months of credit card fees at the tune of 18% (if I didn't have the cash in hand, which I did). I had cancelled after a few weeks (once the rest of my order arrived with no Pershing) and was finally refunded after about a month after that.

But I will continue to wait and see what happens. Maybe my little voice is wrong this time.

I received my tracks in the mail last night. They were very basic- no packing or even a bag around them, just 4 tracks on their side in the box- but all were good quality and have no issues with them that I could see. And I am shocked at how fast the shipping was- I ordered on the 29th of Dec, Raidentech shipped on the 31st and they arrived (here in Canada) on the 6th!

I'm still not sure about Raidentech, but I'd consider them at least now. I think if they have in stock they are fine, but when they are back-ordered....well, that is when I had the issues.

I ordered my Stug (with free shipping) from them on the 30th, shipped on the 30th with tracking code, and it got here last night. Everything works Too

I will probably order a jagdpanther from them too, since it's nearly half the price of anywhere else
