I would really like to try and scratch build a hetzer, does anyone have a suitable road wheel and track combo that would be close to the original that would work?

Have you looked into the Tasca Panzer II Ausf. F in 1/24th scale? Maybe not so much for the road wheels but what about the sprocket/tracks?

I'll have to take a look F thanks for the lead. A guy did email me directly who will be casting roadwheels for this very purpose. we'll see what comes of that.

I just checked out the Tasca and you just might be on to something there F. like I said if this other guy can cast some decent roadwheels this could actually work.

Are you talking about the Jagdpanzer 38t or the real Hetzers ... the E-10 or E-25 tank destroyers? I have been thinking of one of those using the Tiger I steel wheels as road wheels.

It's just another thought. Those would look HAWT on the battlefield!

You know thats a real good point F I forgot about the E-10 and 25. So I would gues I'll be wanting the 38 -t. Those are the roadwheels that the gentleman emailed me about. they are basd on the 38-T But I actually prefer the E-25. nasty little beast.
