Good job on the Tiger! Unlike mine was, it is interesting to see what one looks like in the raw, before anything has been painted.

Thanks!! I didn't think I was going to do well. It's been like 17 years since I put together a model kit. It was a Russion MI-24 hind.

Here is a picture of my last Rock Crawler I built before I became a tanker!

I like to build stuff from time to time.....
Check out my Fist of the North Star ps3/pc controller I made for Street Fighter VI

But from now on it's all about tanking....to more trucks!!

That crawler body shell reminds me of the "Grave Digger" truck. It also looks expensive, though I know nothing about what something like that costs. Was it less expensive than the Tamiya Tiger?

Yes, the ZUH 19 is a bolt in deal, and is really needed in your tank, as you have the original Type 1 TU's which are way too fast. Good thing about the ZUH19 is if and when you go to the later Tam trans, the Type 3, it is a simple deal to unbolt from the Type 1's and bold to the Type 3's. I've used the ZUH19 system for 7 years now on just about all my Tamiyas. Never had the first failure.

Ijust bought those for my Tiger like 2 weeks ago and they work great. The bolt right in using the stock pinions and even come with 2 other sets 12t and 14t so you can adjust the speed. Personally i like the stock 10t pinions alredy on the motors.. Its a lot slower but has a ton more torque now and can crawl along at a snails pace while still going over large objects.

The only problem i had was that the one on the left TUmoves the motor back a bit and i no longer had enough clerance for my battery packs and my speaker box so i had to remove the speaker from the stock box and make a new one to fit.
