Nice going Don! Really diggin it.....hopefully the $150 cost of constructing it was including trial and errors and the final build could be reduced further than that! Get that mother in the tank! Can't wait to see it in action!

PS. Shoot the dog! Bah, ha ha ha ha!

Oh yea the big cost was all the trial and mostly my errors. Glad you guys like it. Still some tweaking to do with the sound module and the speed of my TC. However it indeed works!

Best

Hello Don,

Looking great, and its a very cool addition to the Hobby, thanks for all your hard work on this!

Hooking up the Tamiy recoil to Heng long 8 pin, and you can convert it to Matorro using the same type of signals,, you take the white wire from the Tamiya unit and connect it too the airsoft shot wire positive spot, then take the Tamiya green wire to the airsoft ground wire, and finally the Tamiya blue wire to the B + or black wire of the turret rotation spot! Using these signals from Matorro it should work the same!

Cheers,

Thank you Friends,

This has really been a fun, and at times frustrating project. After this first one the rest should be easy.....I hope.

I have just a few more wires to figure out on the Matto KT.

Brother Blitz has been a big help, as he always is. They threw a curve ball on this one. All the wires are not where they should be on the 8 pin connector. So hooking up the recoil is a big pain.

I push on though!

Don

Try this Don,

Matorro is different but using the same signals it should work the same! So you would use Pin # 2 , 3 & 5

Don, that is some really nice innovative work. It's guys like your self that make this the most interesting hobby too me. Someone is always comming up with really kool stuff. The joke was pertty dern funny too. Great stuff buddy. Oh and I finnally did find that damn Tiger rear section. My father who now lives with me picked it up and packed it away under the work bench. He thought it was a box of his tool bits fropm when he moved. sorry. If you still need it NOW I can get it out too you. i also still have a bunch of spare Tiger track. Almost enough for 1 whole tank. Sorry again Don.

Gregg from NJ.

Thanks Blitz,

Here is what I have. It is a 10 pin connector. Strange, but here is how they have it

Pin 1 - Red To the Headlight
Pin 2 - Black Common of headlight and hull MG
Pin 3- Blue Turret Rotation
Pin 4- Yellow Turret Rotation
Pin 5- Brown Elevation
Pin 6- Green Elevation
Pin 7- White ?
Pin 8- Orange To Hull MG
Pin 9/10 Blank

What do you make of that? Never seen one wired like this before.

Thanks

Don
