I just receivced my first RC tank for my 60th birthday. It's great to be a kid again! I bought an HL Panzer III with the metal upgrade from Bananna Hobbies. The tank itself works pretty well, but the cannon fired about 20 rounds before it started jamming, misfiring and spitting out multiple rounds. Per the instructions, I was careful to load in unused clean rounds (the ones that came with the kit).
I contacted Bannana and they flatly refused to help. They claimedproblem was caused by something that I did to get dirt into the cannon. The only time I had it outside was to run it up and down a cleanbrick sidewalk. This decesion was made without ever looking at the tank and not even talking to me directly. I had to deal with them through their semi-live chat.
Given that I apparently worked with a company who's customer service policy appears to be take your money and give you the bird... can anyone give me some ideas on how to get into the cannon to check it and effect repairs.
I am a newbie to the RC Tank hobby, but I do have fair mechanical skills and a workshop full of tools.
Along with ideas if you have photos that would be great!

It sounds like the little rubber gromit in the breach moved around. try removing the 2 screws it the mantlit then the barrel will pull out. i use a tiny bit of rtv to glue the rubber peice to the barrel. good luck.

Hello Dave T.
Like cheap tank stated,if the rubber seal is not in it's proper place the gun will not shoot right ( or at all ).I struggled with one or two of them until I finally got it installed right.
Been to long for me to be of much help in giving directions on how to do it right, but there are others here who can give you the right info on how to fix it.It is a simple fix if you know how to get it in and get it in- in the right spot and direction.
BIGMIG

P.S. you do not need to tear the gun shooting mechanism apart to fix this.............
