I know it's a bit early, but you need to start making plans now and marking you calanders now for the Texas Armor Association's Annual Epic Tank Battle.
Come battle on the world's LARGEST out-door R/C tank battlefield measuring in at 7,200 square feet! Battle while B-17's, ME-109's battle over-head! (R/C of course!) Our club house provides A/C, full power wall outlets every 4 ft, concession stand, bathroom facilities on site All located on BOMBER FIELD located in Monaville, Tx.

Flyn Chris... I know that it might be a drive or flight for you, but you should come down, the M-3 Stuart I did a while back should be making an appearance at this years get-together.

In fact, we are planning a few more buildings, plus hopefuly a couple of "inter-active" targets around the oil refinery area so we down here in Texas invite one and all to come play on the BIGGEST SAND BOX! Bring your IR tanks, Tamiya, HenLong Mattoro, ect,ect,

I saw Tomas, so he still lives after all! I see Daryl was the last man standing for the Allies during one of the battles. I am guessing that the T34 seen in the video was Daryl's. The KV-2 was cool too, first time I've seen video of one during an IR Battle.

We have a DAK Battle coming up here in Phoenix on April 10th. Our C.O. hasn't started a thread yet for it.. What are you waiting for EDoubleAZ??

LADIES AND GENTS....

WE WISH YOU ALL CAN ATTEND... IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC TO SEE AND MEET many of you for the 1st time...
This is truly an awesome event... R/C TANKS, R/C WARBIRDS, R/C JETS and even fullscale flyovers...
Rumor has it there will also be a visit by a Gen. George S Patton impersonator in full uniform...

This event is open to all R/C TANKs in 1/15-1/16-1/17 scale as long as they are Tamiya Battle Unit/System Compatible...
We will have continuous battles w/ team, mixed team, scenario, fan favorites and night time battles..
Also we will be holding a R/C TANK COMMANDER Drawing for a 2.4GHz Radio for all Tank Commander Participants...
Great prizes , raffle, R/C AIRSHOW, Great comradarie and more...

All the action starts Friday noon and runs until SUNDAY afternoon....

Hi Tomas,

I hope you and Erin are doing well and had a good 4th of July. We just had a battle weekend at Danville and we discused perhaps heading down to Texas in my RV. I'm working on the logistics of such and endeavor and the costs too. We will need a minimum of four guys to make the trip practical/feasible. I know there are a lot of RVs at you event. Would you have room near the tank field for my 35 foot motorhome? Are there hotels nearby for those who would need them and a rental car agency neareby? Please find out and let me know.

A new addition was made to the field this week-end, in the form of "street lamps", this will give a new perspective for the night battle that will take place after the days activities, the pics realy do not do them justice, it looks great in person!, I was able to take my Mk III around the town and over the bridge with no problems.
