Haven't seen it done yet Don. The Tamiya flash is actually a High Tension Strobe. It uses a heck of a lot of juice. Don't even know if you can pin out it too a mato board.

Don't think you can, Chief. As P G said, it's a 4 wire strobe. I would be worried about a bigger flash from inside the hull. An LED it ain't.

Oh heck yeah, it can be done. I did it to my WSN T34 with no problems.

Just stuff it with Tamiya electronics.

Well Hell Jeff, why does EVERYTHING gotta be a SECRET. LOL How's it done? And can you do it in a WSN T-34? Please say yes.

You do have a thing about secrets, huh? Were you teased as a child with them?

There are no secrets my friend, only esoteric ideas.

I have two Wasan T34's with Tam electronics complete, using Pershing. However, if I was to do it today, I'd use the KV system from Tamiya. Daryl Turner was the first to do it way back when the Wasan T34 model kit came out, about 6 months before the RC version was out. Masterful job he did on that one.

Yeah i think I'm going to go that route with my first T-34. I got Phil building me one now with a DBC in it. But I really like the Tamiya conversions since my Tiger came out so well. i'm in the middle of doing an HL Pershing.
