Heng Long KingTiger next?!?!!?!?
I'd love this seeing as how they have in my opinion stepped up quality. They need to make me an infared capable KT at least . The Panther G and Jagdpanther were great and an all around 180 from the early Tiger 1's thyey came out with and that hidious beast they called a "Panther".

[:-]Wonderful. Finally, Heng Long might actually fix Matorro's epic fail. I am in no way downing Matorros products iI'm just saying their KT was't quite ready for the market. This is based on their incredibly weak airsoft gun [&o].

Do you think it'll have that bump on the lower glacis? Will it be the first HL with zimm?

Oddly familiar is right. The picture that the Radio Control Store (from googly's link) has of this KT looks a lot like the Matorro version. Check it out.
And what I find interesting is at the bottom of the model's description..........following the standard Heng Long stuff........is this little ditty:
"This product was added to our catalog on Thursday 02 August, 2007."
2007? Are we sure that the Radio Control Store is selling a Heng Long tank in this ad?
I get so confused at my age! []

Great....yet another version of the same tank that is already on the market........at least it will save me some money as I'm waiting for something "new" to hit the market.....maybe something British(remember them HL/Tamiya??)those were the "other" good guys.

I haven't got one, so Maybe a Heng long quality one would get me to open my wallet, but where are the Comets, and Valentines. I would buy mulitples of those.
Another KT just isn't exciting to me
"Heng Long Qaulity" Who would have thought anyone would be saying that. They sure have got better then they used to be.

I know. It's like its own oxy-moron. ''Heng Long quality'', now there is something you don't hear everyday.

RE: Heng Long KingTiger next?!?!!?!?
Personaly I am looking forward to seeing Heng Long's version of the King Tiger.
At least it will come with an RX18 fitted and metal gearboxes, hopefully.
Also I am hoping it will not have the same overscale zimmerit as the matorro, smooth armour please Mr Long,at least then we can apply our own zimmerit if we choose.
You never know, they may even do a Porsche turret version.
A friend of mine has both the Tamiya KT and Matorro KT and I've always been impressed by they're size,I will be very tempted to buy a Heng long version as I know my friend will buy one,he just likes KT's.

I too am looking forward to seeing this offering.
Been looking at the Tamiya KT, but really only want it for a shelf queen. If this release ups the bar even more over the last few HL releases, it should be a decent piece. A good HL offering will certainly make the Tamiya KT less attractive in my eyes.

Ain't that the truth! I'd be less likely to spring for the Tamiya Sherman right about now if it was certain that HL was putting that out before a KT.....especially if it were an M4A4.

RE: Heng Long KingTiger next?!?!!?!?
Hmmmmm, I was kinda hoping the marketing guru at Heng Long (also, I believe, the chief crooked gluer-oner of the Tiger 1 commander's cupola) would've assumed that anybody that wanted a KT would've bought a KT from either Tamiya or Matorro by now. Time for Mato to win some fans by releasing a Grant, Priest, or M10. I know I've got a cash supply that was set aside for something new, not something that's been out for years and on offer by two companies. Apologies to KT fans out there.
Mike.
